Online Personal Branding in Minutes. Is It Enough?

Executive job search 2.0 has settled in and it requires branding.

Letting the world know who you are takes very little time (and very little money, if any). The opportunities to carve out your footprint are endless.

Social media saturation is mostly FREE and easy to accomplish. Online social networks, blogging, personal websites or career portfolios, book writing, book reviewing, webinars, teleseminars, podcasts, etc. are all there for the taking.

You need to be doing at least some of these things, just to keep pace with those who have already embraced these latest trends.

Rajesh Setty suggested yesterday in his blog Life Beyond Code moving beyond what everyone else is doing to “a new personal brand”. His long-term personal branding starts with developing accomplishments.

“The bedrock of any solid personal brand will be accomplishments that the marketplace determines as relevant and valuable”.

He follows with insights on creating supporting structure and dealing with the new personal brand.

Take a deep breath. The next best branding strategy is imminent.
