Who Is Using LinkedIn and Twitter?

By Meg Guiseppi | December 15, 2008

Take a look at the astounding amount of information that Brian Chappell at Ignite Social Media put together covering geographic and demographic data for 42 social networks, including LinkedIn and Twitter.

Graphs include data on daily unique visitors, geographic search volume, age, education level, and household income.

Did you know that:

→ Over 35% (the largest group) of LinkedIn users are between 35 and 44, whereas over at Twitter, nearly half are in that age group?

→ Or that the largest group of LinkedIn members (about 25%) earn between $75,000 and $100,000, with about the same breakdown at Twitter?

→ Or that about 30% of LinkedIn members have graduate degrees, while 15% at Twitter do?

Interesting stuff!
